Software Tester

Position Description

As a member of the Technical Development department's software testing team, the successful candidate's primary responsibility will be to test GoldCare software. GoldCare provides integrated healthcare management solutions to community, residential and continuing care organizations across North America, Australia, and New Zealand.

Position Responsibilities

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include creating and executing test plans on GoldCare software and tracking defects and enhancements. The candidate may also be required to occassionally test website enhancements and major structural changes.

Requirements

related post secondary education
previous software testing experience

highly attentive to detail
strong organizational, time-management and analytic skills
excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
demonstrated ability to be a contributing team member
keen interest to learn business applications.

Additional Assets

familiarity with client-server based environments
strong knowledge of PC products and operating systems
understanding of web based products and working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript code and Access database structures
familiarity with the health care industry or a related service field
exposure to automated testing software.
