Project Leader
Position Description
Reporting to the Care Team Manager - Community and Project Services, you will work as a member of the GoldCare Projects group. In this position, you will be responsible for initial project management and consultation, training, support, advocacy, and promoting and encouraging maximal use of GoldCare software. As well, you will assist with other technical project-related activities as required.
Position Responsibilities
Including but not limited to:
- Complete business fit analysis and review of the customer's business process flow to facilitate optimal setup of GoldCare software to meet business requirements
- Manage multiple, concurrent GoldCare implementation projects from conception to completion
- Provide or co-ordinate initial and on-going training for relevant GoldCare applications
- Communicate requirements for system enhancements and assist in developing specifications and alpha testing
- Complete post implementation debriefing, assessment review and recommendations
- Recommend changes to business process flow as appropriate to maximize the efficiency of the GoldCare application and functionality
- Assist in the design, testing and QI for interfaces and exports
- Create form-based reports using the GoldCare MYOR Report writer
- Create custom HTML screens and printed forms
- Create database fields as required to support the above
- Encourage active involvement in the GoldCare user community
Requirements
- Post-secondary education, preferably in computer science and/or health care
- Two+ years experience implementing software applications
- Excellent communication skills, analytical skills and ability to multitask
- Working knowledge of HTML
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel
Assets
- Familiarity with the health care industry or a related service field
- Knowledge of GoldCare applications
- Programming experience
